Centennial Hall

On the first day at Lynchburg College, a tour was given to a group of people by the head coach of the women's basketball team. As the group walked down the long stretch of sidewalk up to Friendship Circle, the tour guide stopped and pointed up to this beautiful building, with huge white pillars, and a glass face from the bottom to the top of the building. The structure had caught everyone's attention, and the guide informed them that it had recently been built and has provided the students with study rooms, classrooms, internet access, and an auditorium. It also has a coffee shop where students socialize and buy food and drinks. At that moment the building gave off a sense of wholeness, which showed it could help anyone get through their college experience.

Centennial
Hall is a highly recommended place for studying. If you are at Hopwood
Hall, you go all the way down the path that leads to the Friendship Circle. When
you get there, turn right and then go straight into the building. When you walk
in In the building there are many rooms and places to use for studying. There
are also many places where students and teachers can talk. The best places
to go to study and get all your work done are the break out rooms that are set
aside on the second floor. There are even more rooms on the third floor
that are used for studying by yourself or in a group. The language lab is
also available on the third floor if you need help in your language class.
On each floor there are rooms with computers in them for internet access.
There is a coffee shop on the first floor where you can take a break and get a bagel and coffee, juice or soda. When you walk in the lobby, there are chairs where you can sit and eat, but you can also use them as places to get your work done. I suggest that the best time to come in to study so you can concentrate is early in the morning. Centennial Hall has wireless access so you can bring your own computer. The building is also connected to the library, another alternative for getting work done, especially if you need a book for a certain subject.
