Hopwood Hall

As you approach Hopwood Hall, you will notice that the building is built symmetrically.  This includes the exterior: the columns, metal rails, doors, bushes on both sides, the identical gardens in the front, and flagpoles on each side.  This design is very appealing when you first see it. It grabs your attention and compels you to explore. People may claim that the Friendship Circle is the center of the campus, but because of this design, I feel that Hopwood Hall is the center of campus. It gives off a very welcoming feeling.

Hopwood Hall is an open facility for the students, teachers, and other members of Lynchburg College. It is a multi-purpose building that holds classes for students and occasional conferences.  It contains classrooms you may be in, a writing center you will undoubtedly find useful when editing papers, an auditorium for guest speakers, and even a snack shop!  Designed to draw you in so you can take full advantage of all that it offers, Hopwood Hall is a focal point for your career here.
